Our Location

We are located in the perfect spot. It is only 5km away from the ring road. Almost 300m above see level in a beautiful remote corner of North Iceland. We are still close to Akureyri, Húsavík and Lake Mývatn so there are many things to see and do in our location. It is easy to find accommodation and restaurants close by. In winter our area is also perfect for seeing the northern lights.

The best thing about our location is that we almost never have to cancel our dog sledding tours from middle of November until middle of April due to bad sledding conditions.
